Wow! The Army is Starting to Catch Up!
On Tuesday, the Army made changes to the much-scrutinized latest version of AR 670-1 (Wear and Appearance of Army Uniforms and Insignia). One change this week is that Soldiers who have tattoos and later wish to seek a commission will be allowed to do so. The revision also removes the ban of locks and twists (so long as they're temporary and can't be considered dreadlocks). Soldiers can now also wear health gizmos like activity trackers, pedometers and heart rate monitors.
