Asian markets in the area?

Hi folks, great site and looking forward to being down there soon.

One thing I have learned to do throughout the years is cook. Especially here in Germany since it seems that the Germans have no taste buds! Not trying to be an ass but some of this food that they give you in restaurants around were I am at should not be allowed!

Well, i am close to a couple of old concentration camps so maybe some of the culinary cuisine is still going on.

Living near Seattle has made me appreciate good Asian food and finding Asian markets are hard in smaller cities.

Thanks and I hope you all can tolerate my ongoing sarcasm.

Then go back or starve while you're here in Germany, oh BTW if u eat at any of those culinary cuisine you might find out that its a heck of better than Macaroni Grill.

I have had some very good German food. It does require spicing up a bit in a lot of cases, but it is still good.

Just like with any food, it is all about taste. Just because one person doesn't like it, does not mean it is altogether bad.

No soup for you!

Well, ten years off and on in Deutschland has given me a pretty reasonable gauge of the foods sold. Not saying its all bad, just some places sell cardboard with a Jaegar sauce for a pretty penny and still continue to stay open.

Come on, why else do you think Germans drink 10 Liters of beer at every meal!? To numb the tastebuds!

(ummm, Macaroni Grill, yeeaahhh!)

We just ate at Macaroni Grill yesterday. It was good; but, I love the Italian downtown. Not as premade as the American's like it.

German's do have more bland taste; but, if the food is good, why over season it? Gotta love me my schnitzel!

Macaroni Grill, at least in my non-professional, non-culinary opinion, is that I'd rather eat road kill.

If I am going to eat Italian food, why would I want to eat at Macaroni Grill when there are so many good Italian restaurants here?

If you have not tried Salvatore yet, you should at least give it a try. You might actually walk out a convert!

Search for the word "salvatore" in the search window.

Ate at Seoul the other day, and it was quite good! Took a little for me to get used to Korean ajumma (owner?) and Phillipino lady (server) passionately carrying on lady? gossip in fluent German... lol

Also, Vietnamese food at Saigon was awesome! Pho and rice rolls...ummm
