How to add attachments and/or pictures to your posts

Did you know you can add almost any type of attachment to your posts? You can add photos, documents, sound files, etc.

How to attach a FILE to a post:

To attach a FILE to a post, click the "Manage Attachments" button on the posting page (below the text window):

If you want to upload a file from your computer, click the "Browse" button and navigate to the file you want to upload.

If you want to upload a file you have found on the web, enter the URL of the file in the bottom box.

Then click the "Upload" button (either will work), and voila, your files have been attached!

How to insert PHOTO(S) into a post:

Inserting photos is very simple! While you are posting your message, and you come to the point where you want to insert a photo, do the following:

Step 1: Open a new tab and go to ImageShack (http://imageshack.us/) and upload a photo following the simple instructions at that site.

Step 2: Copy the entire code from the box labeled "DIRECT LINK" as shown below. Be sure to get ALL of the code in the box.

Step 3: Click on the "insert image" icon in the toolbar.

Step 4: Paste the DIRECT LINK from ImageShack into the box when prompted. (Be sure not to have HTTP:// in the window, twice)

It's that simple! Repeat for each photo you wish to include within your post.
